HMS Duke of York is another in a series of five British King George V-class battleships, built strictly according to the naval treaties in force in the first half of the 1930s. Built in 1941, it went down in history as a participant in the Allied operations off the coast of North Africa, a veteran of Arctic convoys and a slayer of the German battleship Scharnhorst. The study by Witold Koszela is a continuation of the series devoted to King George V battleships, in which on 8 A2 and 30 A4 sheets we can find a series of excellent drawings showing the silhouette of the ship with its changes, a short historical description, tactical and technical data and color schemes.
